Tunic by Fenix: a tunic made by a woman for women
If you have been following me for some time, you should know that the Fénix brand is not a new thing here on the blog. Margareth de Carvalho (owner of the brand) gave me a while ago a super inspiring interview (click here to read) where she talks about how she started her own brand. I also have had the pleasure of styling and sharing some her creations here on the blog. For those reason the Fénix brand has for me a meaning that goes beyond vanity.
The awareness of the story behind her brand has allowed me to have an emotional bond with it. Every step, every achievement she adds is a pride and serves as a source of inspiration for me and I believe for others as well. And because steps are taken and achievements are made by all those who fight, Margareth added to her conquests of launching her new collection this summer, of which this wonderful tunic is part of, the launch her webshop (https://fenixblogue.com/shop/), where the entire collection can be bought.
Although the collection is extensive, they all have a unique character. Using different types of prints and graphics, Margareth was able to create a diversified collection of tunics. But the great thing about all of these tunics is that they were made with different women bodies types in mind. I think it is superb that Margareth thought of that.
I think most of us have experienced at least once in our life that not every beautiful piece of clothe that you like, suits you. I’ve lost the count of how many times I bought something because it looked beautiful in the catalog, but when I went on to try it, it just looked odd on me. The fact that Margareth thought of this small detail makes these tunics even more special.
Being a dying fan of mustard yellow, I fell right away for one of the tunic in yellow I saw first. Obviously, I had not seen the whole collection yet, but as soon as Margareth said that she planned to send me one, I did not think twice and said straight away, ” the yellow one sure?” But as Margareth aside from being a designer is a fashion blogger and I believe she has already discovered my taste in clothes (lol), she answered “okay, but I made this one think of you”.
When I received the photo, I was sold, I understood that thing with the yellow tunic was only passion. True love was what I really felt for this one, lol. Luckily this love was confirmed and when I tried it for the first time, I did not need to think twice about how I would style it. This tunic definitely suits my style and I love the colors of the print.
The choice of the print made the tunic super classic and so I decided to combine it with a pair of pants in similar tone. The result was a classic look that can be worn on different occasions. Futhermore, the tunics are super versatile, they can be worn in different forms. On Fenix website and Instagram, you’ll find different ways to style it that you can use as an inspiration. Margaret worked with different bloggers who did a wonderful job of styling the tunics. Click here to buy one, you’ll definitely love it!
I hope you have enjoyed the post and do not forget to dream and always strive for the fulfillment of your dreams.
