Three ways to combine sneakers
It’s no a secret here on the blog that I have an undying love for high heels (lol). Until some time ago my look wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t compose it with a high heel. However, since I decided to incorporate more flat shoes into my wardrobe a whole new world of style has opened up for me. I am increasingly in love with the variety of looks that can be composed with the different types of flat shoes out there. From moccasins, ballet flats, to sneakers. In today’s article I bring to you three different ways to combine sneakers.
Sneakers with linen blazer and pants
Being a fan numero uno of casual-chic style, the combination of sneakers and a blazer is definitely one of my favorites. It doesn’t matter, if you combine them with pants, shorts, skirt or dress, the result will always be magnificent. This is because the combination of the blazer, which is a formal piece with the sneakers that are casual, makes a perfect contrast. In this look, I chose to combine them with these neutral green linen pants and top in the same color tone. Neutral green perfectly matches the colors of the sneakers. But to create a contrast in the look I opted for this blazer in dark blue. It’s a super cool look, perfect for wearing in an environment that doesn’t require so much formality. Sneakers with shorts and a coat
It’s still summer and in the summer we wear and abuse shorts, right? Therefore, I couldn’t leave it out of my compositions for this post. Shorts are comfortable, versatile pieces that are very easy to match. For this look I simply took this super “cute” set and combined it with the sneakers. I loved the combination, but as the days are starting to get a little cooler (especially at the end of the day) I added this coat to the look. The coat not only protects me from the breeze, it also adds a little more character to the look. This is a perfect look to take one of those long walks, especially for those on vacation and wanting to explore new places.
Sneakers with dress
The combination of dresses and sneakers just melts my heart. For this look I opted for this dark blue dress with white polka dots to match the color of the sneakers. I think that the combination of dresses and sneakers is very romantic and, therefore, perfect to wear on those dates with the “boo” who is already our love, accomplice, and best friend or just for a walk with friends.
I hope you liked the looks and don’t forget to dream and always fight to make your dreams come true.
