How to create a lovely look in full autumn
I love creating looks regardless of what is trendy or not. I love to create looks that can be worn in any season, whether they are fancy, brutal, male, vintage etc. But today, I woke up with sunlight knocking at my window, so it gave me that urge to go out and create a super cute look. Autumn has this effect on me, I love the fall. It is not warm nor cold, the sun shines and the breeze is super cosy. Not to forget the brown leaves that adorn the streets, half bare trees composed of brown, yellow, green and reddish leaves. It reminds me of my childhood in the Province of Cuando-Cubango, in southern Angola. We do not have fall, we have only two seasons, summer and Cacimbo, which is the cold and dry season, it starts in May and it ends in August. But the transition from summer to Cacimbo, as I remember, it was just like the fall. My friends and I, we loved playing with the leaves stacked on the floor.
We ran barefoot from one side to the other, we played zero, we danced, it was wonderful. It’s amazing how nature can give us so much energy, beauty, joy and positivity. Children have an enormous capacity to capture it, but we, the adults often are too distracted with the problems in our lives and forget to take advantage of what has been given to us freely by God. But this adult here, today is very attentive and decided to enjoy every bit of this wonderful day. Not in Cuando-Cubango but in Groningen, the largest city in the north of the Netherlands. My second home, a city well-known for its universities and innovation, a beautiful city just like one of my looks (hahaha).
The first thing I did, was, to take this beautiful yellowish green skirt out of my wardrobe. And being a super colour fan, I opted immediately for this plaid shirt in red, pink, black and white to create a beautiful contrast with the colour of the skirt. Since the skirt is a little too short, I wore black nylons and I combined everything with my favorite Jeffrey Campbell boots. I love these boots and I use them with almost everything.
I hope you enjoyed and do not forget to leave your comment here below. A big kiss from AngoDiva for you and may God enlighten your way. Do not forget to dream and always strive for the realization of your dreams. Love, AngoDiva.
